Let's start with definitions. What is "Web 2.0?" Somewhere in this word cloud is a good definition:
What is a VLE? That stands for Virtual Learning Environment. Alternate names include LMS (Learning Management System), IMS (Instructional Management System), and CMS (Course Management System). In other words, we're talking about Blackboard, Desire2Learn, Angel, Moodle, etc.
